Demo store
Demo Company: what a Virginia dispensary looks like on day one.
Demo Company is a sample store set up the way a Virginia applicant would run it before July 1, 2027: full site live, ordering switched off, waitlist collecting. Everything below is what a new client gets.
63+
strain profiles
12
local delivery pages
53
menu items ready
45
guides, laws & terms
The challenge
A new Virginia store has no domain history, no reviews and no content, and it can't run Google or Meta ads for cannabis. Without a plan, it opens to an empty search page while national marketplaces own the traffic.
What we built
- A branded storefront in the store's own colors, with the full menu, deals calendar, bag and checkout.
- An ordering switch that keeps checkout closed and collects a waitlist until the license is live.
- The Leafline library: strain, terpene and cannabinoid profiles, first-timer guides, a glossary and law pages for Virginia, DC and Maryland.
- Local delivery pages for every Loudoun and Fairfax community in the service area.
- Rewards: welcome points, referral codes, review bonuses and tiers, ready to turn on.
- The Daily: a blog publishing strain reviews, how-tos and local news.
The plan to July 1
Every month between now and launch adds indexed pages, local signals and waitlist sign-ups. When sales open, the switch flips, the waitlist gets its launch-week offer, and orders flow into the POS.
