How to store cannabis so it stays fresh
Light, air, heat and humidity are the enemies. Here is how to beat them.
Keep it cool and dark
UV light and heat break down THC and terpenes. A cabinet or drawer away from appliances is ideal.
Use an airtight glass jar
Glass does not add flavors and seals out air. Avoid plastic bags, which can build static and pull off trichomes.
Mind the humidity
Around 55–62% relative humidity keeps flower from drying out or growing mold. Two-way humidity packs make this easy.
Lock it up
Store all cannabis in a locked container, out of reach of children and pets.
